This month at CLMOOC, we’re making map postcards. Here are mine.
We’ve been learning how to tie dye for a couple workshops we’re doing as a part of our library maker project, and while we were doing t-shirts, I thought “Hmmm…maybe this could be a postcard?” so I dyed some cheesecloth at the same time. Here are the results. Oh and the t-shirts turned out ok too.
This took several tries to perfect the approach. I was pleased with how if finally turned out though.
These were my postcards for the Liberate Your Art project this year. (I just got them in under the wire, and it wasn’t quite what I’d planned to do, but I was glad to have participated.)
